Job Title: Electrical Site Engineer                            

Salary: £13.92ph

Location: Cheshire          

Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 – 50 Hours per week/ Monday - Friday

The role:

Our established family run client based in Cheshire is on the search for an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will require the ability to manage installations, commissioning of products and servicing of equipment on site. The role involves attending sites across the UK and working within a team. For this reason, there will be an expectation of staying over 1 night per week where all expenses will be paid for by the company.

The role as Electrical Site Engineer is an exciting opportunity to forge a successful career with a established Business in the Cheshire area.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Attend sites across the UK
  • Support the after sales and breakdown department when available
  • Be prepared to stay away from home when required, at least one night a week
  • Maintain company procedures and improve where possible
  • Complete site reports after each visit and obtain customer signature
  • Return all completed site reports and time sheets in a timely fashion
  • Be a good ambassador for the company, promoting all products and services
  • Ensure all materials and tools are available before leaving and complete jobs within the specified time frames
  • Communicate at all levels
  • Be responsible for petty cash and credit card

Skills and experience sought

  • Previous experience within a similar role is desired
  • Electrical qualification to 17th or 18th Edition (BS7671)
  • C&G Level 3 - Initial and periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations
  • Confined space training
  • First Aid
  • CSCS
