Job Title: Pannel Assembler                                     

Salary: £12PH (DOE)

Location: Crewe              

Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

The role

Are you an experienced and professional Panel Assembler looking for a new opportunity to forge an exciting and long standing career with your next employer? Are you experienced with assembling control panels, have experience of liaising with test engineers and are a problem solver when it comes to relating design and manufacturing? A family run company based in Cheshire is currently on the hunt for a talented and experienced Pannel Assembler to join them. You will be part of an established team and have the ability to forge an exciting and long-standing career.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • To assemble control panels and kiosks to given wiring diagrams and parts lists
  • Liase with test Engineers, stores and Design departments with problems relating to design and manufacturing
  • Keep accurate time sheets in relation to hours spend on each individual job
  • Maintain and assist in improving company procedures where possible

Skills and experience sought

  • Previous experience of working in a similar role
  • Understanding of control system functionality and components
  • Knowledge of reading schematic diagrams
  • Ability to make off cables and looms, soldering components, forming cables and assembly of control panel backplates

  • Excellent communication skills – both verbally and in written form
  • Team player
  • Self motivated with excellent attention to detail
  • Good time management
  • Ability to work to high standards at all times
